Jordan R. Rose was just named as one of The Phoenix Business Journal's "Leading Lawyers" and as one of the top women under 40 years old by the Arizona Republic. Ms. Rose practices in the areas of municipal issues, land use, zoning, government relations, administrative law and lobbying. Ms. Rose received her B.A. with honors in 1992 from the University of Arizona and her J.D. in 1996 from Arizona State University. Her clients include publicly held corporations, developers, homebuilders, engineers, architects, property owners, citizen groups, non-profit organizations and private homeowners.
Ms. Rose is one of the founding members of the newly created Pinal Partnership and serves as the Vice Chairperson and board liaison to the transportation committee. She is a frequent speaker and master of ceremonies at real estate related events. Groups she has spoken to include Lambda Alpha, Arizona Planning Association, Spring Agriculture Outlook Forum, Valley Partnership, Pinal Partnership, East Valley Citizens Forum, and many others. She was the "conservative angel" on the weekly Charles Goyette Radio Show, "Charles' Angels", a member of the Institute for Justice's Board of Directors, a member of the Goldwater 100, a regular columnist for the Arizona Journal of Business and Real Estate, a periodic columnist to The Tribune newspaper, The Scottsdale Republic, and The Business Journal. She is an associate scholar for the Goldwater Institute, which has published two of her studies, "Eminent Domain Abuse in Arizona: The Growing Threat to Private Property," and a study she co-authored with Court Rich, "Protecting Private Property Rights: The Case for Vested Property Rights."
Rose is a member of the Casa Grande, Coolidge, Maricopa, and Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce, the Pinal Historic Museum, Urban Land Institute, Valley Leadership Class IX, a past President of the Phoenix Museum of History, a Member of the Pinal County Historic Society, delivered the key note address for the annual 2004 Xavier Preparatory Father Daughter Breakfast, was the spokesperson for now Maricopa County Attorney Andrew Thomas' 2004 campaign, served as finance chair for now Tempe Mayor Hugh Hallman's 2004 campaign, was past finance chair of the Arizona Republican Party, a member of Charter 100, Vice Chair for the American Heart Association Heart Ball 2006, a member of the Board of Trustees for the Phoenix Symphony, a member of the Board of Trustees for Center for Autism Research Development, a member of the Board of Trustees for The Make a Wish Foundation and an advisor to the Board of Teen Life.
In the first year of the award, Ms. Rose was named "Top 40 under 40" by the Phoenix Business Journal, and prior to that, for two years, Ms. Rose was named "Most Influential Under 30" by the Phoenix Business Journal, as "Top Women in the Valley" by Hola Latino America Magazine, as a "Women Who Care" in the first year of their award by the Phoenix Theater, and "Top 20 Women in Business" by City AZ magazine and was a Trends Fashionality. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Arizona, and the Arizona Planning Association.
