Richard Howell is the father of a pre-school age child with autism. He and his wife have been married for 14 years. He is a graduate of New Mexico State University and has a Bachelors Degree in Marketing and Professional Golf Management. Richard became a Member of the Professional Golfers Association of America in 1995. After working as a club professional for Red Mountain Ranch Country Club, Orange Tree Golf Resort, and Union Hills Country Club, he became the Tournament Director for the Southwest Section PGA. He was responsible for the operations, marketing, rules administration and financial success of more than 50 Professional Golf Tournaments each year in this position. Richard left the golf industry to become a stay-at-home dad, and has been in this (his most) rewarding position since 2003.
